Sitting in a fancy hotel in a fancy city.  

The Standard hotel.  Upside down standard.

I'm having a blast.  Remembering everything I experienced these last weeks.

Refreshing my soul within this smuggy city and feeling the happiness of it all.

San Diego Blues

on the road.  

visions of the future and sorrows from the past.

sand dunes, water, wind, and sun.  

The drive was beautiful, hot and bright. 

In the car I longed for clouds.

Once arriving near the ocean, 

I was blanketed by a gray lingering.

The somber coolness of this california evening has put me into a trance.

The dance of life is happening all around me.  

I sang stronger than ever in the late hours of yesternight.

Tonight, I meditate on travel.

Tomorrow I head north.

Off I Go

The adventure begins.  The new chapter starts.  I am ready.

The summer is officially over.  Fall has set in and the town is preparing for winter.  Last night was cold and I slept hard and well.  The scent of autumn reaches my nose and I look forward to the harvest.  California dreamin'.  Can't believe it's real.  A trip to San Diego with a dear friend and a train ride up the west coast to gain perspective and peace.  Life is funny.  Yet beautiful.  I will sit and work for 3 weeks.  

I will be happy to leave this town once again.  To travel places I've never been and have a great time doing it.  The inspiration is flowing and once I'm on the road I'll feel the freedom of what life really is.  

A saturated community filled with growth and love.  The northern California region is filled with progressive farms and sustainable living experiments.   To see people working towards the good life  will be inspiring.  I am thankful for this opportunity and look forward to all that is about to be.....
