Winter

Winter is upon us.  The season is beginning to ripen and I feel blessed to be apart of it all.

There are times, especially around the holidays when I feel a little bummed and frustrated by this society.  

Consumerism, greed, regret.  They flood into the jolly spirit and trample anything beautiful. 

But I managed to hold on to a few pieces of greatness.  The grace of my steps over the last few weeks have placed me into new opportunities.  I was given beautiful gifts in honor of the christmas spirit and I am forever thankful for them.  I will cherish the moments spent with the wee tikes until the day I rest.  They have come to mean so much to me.  

My time now is spent catching up with the year.  Realizing I'll be 25 soon and preparing for the largest journey I've ever been on.  A trip around the country, by train, all my myself.  An expedition of the 21st century.  A journey into society and it's corners.  A soul searching endevour.  I am blessed this season.
